Tailored Stays

Holidays are for relaxation and enjoyment so please let us take a few of the everyday chores away from you to leave you with more time to enjoy with your family and friends.

Below are a few ideas that we have found to be popular with guests but if there are other ways that we can assist please just ask. We are keen to make your stay as comfortable as possible and our team have a great deal of experience in helping with requests.

All incoming groups will be provided with a small welcome hamper filled with seasonal treats, many of them from the estate itself. We are also within the local Tesco’s delivery round so you can programme a delivery for immediately after your arrival.

Please just ask if you need any combination of these options.

Breakfast option

For those on a short stay we can provide a hamper with everything you will need to start your day.  Coffees, teas, cereals, farmhouse bread, butter and marmalade and jams together with fruit and yoghurt will be left in the kitchen along with bacon and eggs to welcome you.  Ideal for parties arriving late at night and not wanting to shop. Please order a week in advance of your stay.

‘Don’t want to Cook’ option

For any groups we can leave a homemade supper (with a main course and pudding, condiments and refreshments) for heating up in the apartment. Ideal for those arriving late and not wanting to start cooking! A week’s notice for this please.

Total pampering

For larger groups (8 persons and over) we can provide a 3-course dinner and breakfast all cooked and served for you together with daily cleaning. Drinks to be clients’ responsibility. Our housekeeping team will take care of everything for you, from making beds and tidying the kitchen to serving you a wonderful dinner. Come back to an immaculate house and the knowledge that you can simply put your feet up and soak up the atmosphere. There is an option to add packed lunches if you are fishing or heading out hill-walking.

We can offer this package for 6 people but it will incur a £5 surcharge.

Per person per day £105 plus VAT.

Keep fit with our bicycles

We have 6 new GIANT mountain bikes at the castle complete with helmets and puncture repair kits that can be hired by the day or week.  There are also maps and trails to take with you if you want some inspiration and guidance.

Larger Groups

Combine all three apartments with a few extra bedrooms such as this one and you can enjoy a family gathering or a celebration of up to 18 people. Corporate Hire

For discerning guests the whole castle can be taken just twice a year. Guests can enjoy the run of the place including 20 bedrooms and many reception rooms with a large range of activities.  These include a badminton court and indoor cricket wicket as well as a billiard room, a dining room that can seat up to 45.  Enquiries and brochure from estate@southesk.co.uk
